Stephen King

So lately, I have been going back and re-watching some of my favorite old movies, If you can't tell by the posts that I have been putting up... So when I am browsing my library I have been coming across some Stephen King movies, Now I know not all of the translations from novel to film have been good.. I can't help but like them. I just bought Dreamcatcher today, don't know if I have seen the whole thing, and I also got Kingdom Hosiptal, which I know I haven't seen,, but have been wanting to. Some of my favorites, The Shawshank Redemption, The Shinning and the mini series, Secret Window, My new favorite is The Mist. In my opinion Frank Darabaunt ( Shawshank, The Mist, The Green Mile) has done a great job at translating the movies from novel to book, and in some cases adds just the right touch to the movies, that make it work so well..

Anyway, I am just thinking about some of the old mini-series and how this winter is going to be a good time to watch and get into.. I may have to go and read the book again on some of them.
