The Worlds Greatest Lover...

Have you ever seen the movie? It stars Gene Wilder, Carol Kane, Marty Feldman. Written and directed by Gene Wilder, the movie was made in 77 and released early 78. It isn't the greatest movie, doesn't hold a candle to a lot of Gene's movies. Albeit, I do like the premise. Sometimes one wants to get away from his/her daily life, even if you are as neurotic as we know that Gene Wilder can be. This movie is nothing short of a mental breakdown, (I think that Gene might have had one writing the movie) Anyway, I can relate.. Who wouldn't want to become "The Worlds Greatest Lover", such a change from normal everyday life... (Although, I have never heard that I was anything less than the greatest(add any pun you want)). The real task at hand here is one just letting loose and going with the flow. I would like to think that I was a bit like Gene in the sense that I would try anything once. I do believe that is the way Mr. Wilder acts.

Gourmet Review 6/10 (although the premise was good, the movie is only mildly entertaining)
