What about JAMES BOND?

Wow over a year of this blog, I haven't even mentioned James Bond. Really I had to go back through every blog which really isn't that many, although as much as I watch James Bond movies, I should have mentioned them several times by now. There is no way that I will be able to review all 23 (or 24 if you are a true enthusiast) Bond films. So I am going to break this down by my favorite and give some little tid bits of other ones.

Diamonds are Forever is probably the one that I will watch the most, but the best portrayal of Bond has to lye in Dr. No. I truly like the comedy that is in DAF, I really like Jill St. John in the role of Tiffany Case. She brings the perfect combination of sex appeal and raw comedic talent. The basis for this film is a bit on the hokey side, the henchmen are really just too kitschy for me. The one liners that they deliver are a bit over the top. Although I really do like the action that is in the movie. There is a great scene in an elevator that really shows that there is some graphic fights. The role of Bloefeld in this movie was probably one of the worst incarnations of the character, but there were some really great Hench-women that is employed by him. Bambi and Thumper really have a good fight with Bond. It is one of the few Bond movies that was filmed in America. Albeit, on the Vegas Strip, it does show what America had to offer in the 70's for entertainment.
