Ok,,, I know a lot of people are going to say why this movie? Well if you haven't seen the movie.. quick synopsis... Mary Horowitz (Sandra Bullock) is a crossword puzzle creator or as she calls herself a cruciverbalist. She is set up on a blind date by her parents with Steve (Bradley Cooper) a camera man for a local news station.
While the date was a total disaster for Steve; who thinks that Mary is batshit crazy, Mary on the other hand, mistakes his cues of distaste for sentiments. The date ends before they even drive away. Mary has an instant fatal attraction for Steve, she follows him on his jobs, stalking him..... Ok I am not going to give away the whole movie or the characters subtle nuances.
....so the reason that I chose this movie is because of its quirky charm. I really love the performance by Sandra Bullock; who in turn won the Golden Raspberry for worst performance of the year, the night before she one an Oscar for best performance of the year for another movie(The Blind Side). Sandra's comedic timing is not wasted on this film as with the supporting characters, Bradley Cooper, Thomas Hayden Church, Ken Jeong, Katy Mixon, DJ Qualls. All and all a very funny movie..
