Really What about James Bond?

I was getting there...It is just so hard to try and break down each person that has played Bond. I will say that my favorite has to be Sean Connery. I love the way he had the charm, the suave debonair that was written for Bond. He had the perfect amount of cockiness that was con vincible for a spy. I will even give credit when he tried to come back later in the early 80's or late 70's "Never Say Never Again", even if it was just a loose remake of "Thunderball". I did really enjoy "Dr. N"o the most, but "Goldfinger" is also another really good movie. The first movie that I seen that starred Roger Moore was Live and Let Die, at the time I didn't really get the movie and I thought that he was just too old to play such a cool guy. When I got a chance to see the movie "The Man with a Golden Gun" I was a little more reassured that he could pull off the job at which he was handed. I do think though that he brought a little too much of "The Saint" into his Bond. For the longest time I didn't give "On her Majesty's Secret Service" a chance. I thought that George Lazenby did a admirable job, but the story really killed it for me. I didn't like the fact the Bond got married. I would have to say that my least favorite is Pierce Brosnen. I thought that he got the great opportunity of all of the really cool special effects and a couple of really good stories to work with. I think that he was just a little to comfortable for the job. I didn't really see a connection with the character. My favorite one with him in it is "Goldeneye", I really like the supporting characters.. Timothy Dalton was a very good Bond, I think that he was given really horrible scripts and at the point in the mid eighties there was just too much going on in action films that was much cooler. Which I guess brings me to the series reboot. I love the action and special effects that are in the new movies, the plot lines are really well thought out, although a little unpractical. "Quantum of Solace" has some of the best editing in movies and sound that I have seen or heard in a long time.

My favorite thing to do when I go to bed and cannot sleep is put on a Bond movie,, I know that I can lay with my eyes closed and just listen to the movie and fall asleep. It never fails.. almost never make it through a whole movie..

Gourmet Review 10/10 as a series...
